The World Congress of Sexologists WAS 2019 – 24th Congress of the World Association for Sexual Health took place for the first time in history in Latin America.

In one day, up to 7 parallel sections, 900 abstracts, 61 symposia, 5 workshops, 227 posters, simultaneous interpretation and 11 invited speakers were prepared for the audience.

The participants of the congress dealt with issues of sexual health, current problems of sexually transmitted diseases and political intervention in education and prevention of these diseases. They also addressed the topic of trans gender issues, which is still a controversial topic in the world, but also the topic of the role played by family education of children and adolescents in the framework of a healthy sexual life.
