The 2014 International Microscopy Congress (IMC) provided the largest international platform for knowledge sharing, exchange of views and experiences and discussion on all aspects of microscopy. The congress is held regularly every four years.

The program was divided into four sections dealing with the topics of Devices and Technology, Materials Science, Life Science and Interdisciplinary Specialization.
