On the 24th-26th November 2022, the 11th conference of hospital gynecologists and obstetricians was successfully held in the heart of southern Bohemia. The conference was held at the Clarion Congress Hotel in České Budějovice, where it visited after five years.
Gynecologists and obstetricians working in inpatient facilities of all types gathered at the conference. Young colleagues also had the opportunity to discuss with more experienced ones and gain valuable advice and experience for their further development.
On the first day of the conference, three practical workshops were held on various topics, among which was, for example, the topic Basics of ultrasound diagnostics in perinatology, where there were also female patients on whom it was possible to try the devices in practice. After the end of the workshops, the ceremonial opening of the conference took place and the professional program itself started, which lasted until the evening hours.
On Friday, the same spirit continued and the rich program ended with a social evening. The evening included a 4-5 km long orienteering run with a knowledge competition. The evening ended with refreshments with musical accompaniment in the restaurant Kozlovna U Zelené ratolesti. On Saturday, the program was varied with a quiz on the topic of case studies in obstetrics, which received a standing ovation.
The SNGP conference was supported by two sponsors and 9 exhibitor stands. Another support for the entire conference was an educational grant from ROCHE s.r.o., Diagnostics Division.
