The NEMLEK congress attracted more than 670 participants

As every year, a traditional congress of hospital pharmacists was held this year. This is the 25th year in a row from 12 to 14 November in Olomouc at the Congress Hotel Clarion. The main topic for this year was intensive care medicine, but above all the specifics of caring for patients who are critically ill.

As the world is constantly plagued by a covid pandemic, the hybrid concept of the event was envisaged from the outset, and participants who arrived directly at the venue had to comply with the strictest security measures. In addition to the required documents, all participants were advised to take the test just before the congress. At the same time, it was possible to have yourself tested on the spot by Renturi. Thanks to these strictly defined internal rules, we managed to organize a successful event, where the participants were waiting for 3 busy days full of lectures, workshops and satellite symposia, which were complemented by lively discussions. Thanks to the hybrid concept, it was possible to involve the participants in the discussion online, thanks to which everyone left with new information.

During 3 days, exactly 55 lectures were given, of which 53 were presented live from Olomouc. A total of 683 participants attended the congress, with the majority (507) present in Olomouc. The remaining 176 participants watched the conference using our own gCon platform.

Thanks to the support of all long-term partners of the congress and the support of CzechTourism and Central Moravia & Jeseniky, a successful congress was organized, at the end of which the participants had a final joint meeting of experts.
