We’re moving scheduled events and finalizing policies for secure conferences.

Given the current situation and uncertainty in the organization of large conferences and congresses this year, we are preparing and announcing new data for most events in autumn 2020 and in year 2021. All confirmed changes are regularly updated on the GUARANT International website in the section Events 2020 but also on the web and social pages of individual events.

We are monitoring changes in government regulations and hope that the situation for the congress industry will soon begin to improve. From the 11th of May we can organise events for up to 100 people and we can start planning at least committee meetings and small seminars. However, considerable joint efforts will still be needed to resume real conference events. We share opinions with other experts in the field and also within our joint initiative of PCO companies – members of the Prague Convention Bureau.

Most of our employees still work from home office and are available by email and on the phone.

Now is our priority to complete the principles for the safe holding of conferences. Organizing conferences and events after COVID-19 will require important changes – especially from the event organizer, but also on venue part. For the safety of the participants, it is necessary to pay attention to the health and technical side of the event, but also to the preventive design, which includes, for example, planning arrivals and safe social interaction of the participants.
