The jubilee year of the Congress of Hospital Pharmacists was thematically devoted to the issue of new trends in the treatment of diabetes mellitus. The participants listened to among all lectures about the treatment of the diabetic foot or the importance of the oral glucose tolerance test in pregnant women. Outside the main professional program, the ČLS JEP Honorary Medal was ceremoniously presented to Professor Václav Suchý for his lifelong contribution to the field of pharmacy.
