This year, the participants virtually enjoyed GASTRO DAYS

A virtual congress of the Postgraduate Course CGS 2020 took place on 2 – 4 December. The event turned from the original physical WGO / CGS joint Meeting into a virtual form. Our team had only 8 weeks to prepare the event.

During the congress, experts in gastroenterology and other health professionals were able to learn about news and interesting information from the field. The congress was divided into 6 sections. There were also 3 company symposia prepared for the participants, one of which was streamed directly from our studio in the GI premises. During the three-day congress, the event was attended by 687 participants and 25 speakers gave their presentations.

The content of the congress was very varied. As it was a medical congress,  the topic of COVID-19 was also addressed by Doc. MUDr. Ilji Tachecí, Ph.D. Other lectures included topics such as Diseases of the esophagus and stomach, Functional disorders and food intolerances or Idiopathic intestinal inflammations, etc.

As part of the virtual congress Postgraduate Course CGS 2020, a virtual exhibition was prepared for 19 partners and participants. It was attended by 16 exhibitors.

We thank the client, all lecturers and chairmen for their interesting contributions to the lectures, our partners and exhibitors for their support and project manager Lucia Přichystalová and the whole team for a well-organized virtual event. We are now looking forward to another event in the field of gastroenterology. This will be the GASTRO 2021 International Virtual Congress in December (https://www.gastro2020prague.org/).
