The 3rd European Congress of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery was an important world-class medical event.

The congress was for the first time in cooperation with the American Academy of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, it was organized together with the 77th Congress of the Czech Society of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery, the Czech Medical Society of Jan Evangelista Purkyně, the 62nd Congress of the Slovak Society for Otorhinolaryngology and Head Surgery and neck and the 6th Czech-Slovak Congress of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.
